Wonderful raises $550M at $5B, up from $2B in March
Wonderful has closed a $550 million Series C at a $5 billion valuation, the company said in its announcement on September 4, 2026. Insight Partners led the round. Salesforce joined alongside returning investors Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners.
That price is two and a half times what the company was worth six months ago. TechCrunch reported that Wonderful’s previous round valued it at $2 billion, and that Salesforce is backing the company for the first time here. The Series B closed in March 2026.
What the company sells has changed as fast as what it’s worth. Wonderful started with a customer service agent platform aimed at non-English-speaking markets, TechCrunch reported, and it’s since repositioned around something it calls the Wonderful AI OS. The release describes that as a shared layer coordinating agents, workflows, enterprise context and integrations. It’s pitched as model-agnostic, so a customer isn’t locked to one provider.
The company says it has grown to 650 employees and more than 35 markets since March. Roughly 325 of those staff are in Israel, according to Calcalist, which also reported a $170 million secondary sale letting employees and angels cash out. That takes total money raised past $800 million since the company was founded in 2025.
| Figure | Value | Reported by |
|---|---|---|
| Series C raise | $550 million | Company announcement |
| Valuation | $5 billion | Company announcement |
| Valuation in March 2026 | $2 billion | TechCrunch |
| Secondary share sale | $170 million | Calcalist |
| Total raised since 2025 | More than $800 million | Calcalist |
| Annual revenue run rate | $70 million | Calcalist |
| Employees | 650 | Company announcement |
| Markets | More than 35 | Company announcement |
That run rate is the number worth sitting with. Calcalist put Wonderful’s annual revenue run rate at $70 million, with the company expecting to pass $100 million by year end. Against a $5 billion price, the current figure works out at about 71 times revenue by our calculation. Our guide to reading a funding announcement covers why that multiple is the line investors are actually arguing about.
Without a shared operating system, AI risks recreating the sprawl of traditional SaaS.

The pitch rests on that sprawl argument, and the product detail backs it up. SiliconANGLE reported that the platform includes an AI Gateway, which routes each request to whichever model suits it: frontier models for complex prompts, cheaper small ones for simple work. Teams get version control on agent projects and an A/B testing tool for comparing agent variants. The platform also supports Google’s open-source A2A protocol for splitting a task across several agents.
None of that ships itself, which is where the headcount goes. Wonderful sends forward-deployed engineers to work alongside customers until a first use case reaches production, then hands the capability over. SiliconANGLE reported those teams also build whole applications, such as CRM systems, from scratch. TechCrunch called that a good strategy given the demand for experts who can implement AI products, and it’s the part of the business the new money is meant to scale.
Customers can adopt whichever parts of the platform make the most sense, integrate them with existing systems, choose the best models for each workload, and retain ownership of everything they build.

Whether that openness holds is the thing to watch, because services revenue and platform revenue don’t scale the same way. Insight co-founder Jeff Horing said in the release that Wonderful is building “the operating layer that allows enterprises to scale AI across the entire organization”, which is a claim about software, not about engineers on site. That gap is the one our coverage of what enterprise AI actually reaches production keeps running into. The year-end revenue figure is the first real test of which business Wonderful is.
